Saying thank you is
more than good manners. It is good spirituality.
- ALFRED PAINTER
Making a life change is scary and full of risk. There are
questions without straightforward answers, and the need to
work through challenges big and small which are often well
outside your comfort zone. In many ways, it can feel as though
you’re a boat out at sea. A teeny, tiny boat.
This is a note to say thank you to friends and family who
have kept this teeny tiny boat afloat with their generous
support, assistance and encouragement, shared intelligence,
and investment of time and skill. Know my gratitude runs deep.
To my husband, who is always patient, supportive, a magician
in so many ways…forever olive juice. And kids, thank
you for your enthusiasm! It took many years of collecting
books and reading together to find this special place where
it all comes together.
